Design Story
The Cloud Rocking Chair is one of PUSU’s representative contemporary Chinese furniture pieces, designed by Chen Yanfei in 2012. Based on the classic outline of the Ming-style round-back chair,
it retains the refined and restrained character of traditional Chinese seating while introducing the
structure of a Western rocking chair. Its curved back, rounded arms, and rocking base are carefully
balanced for comfort and visual lightness. The result is a chair that feels both traditional and
contemporary — calm, elegant, and suitable for slow everyday living.
